Purpose of the Learning Centre is to share knowledge and learning related to polyethylene piping systems. Towards this objective the Learning Centre conducts training programs and publishes a periodical newsletter for personnel from corporates, municipalities, PWDs (public works departments), industrial plants, mining companies, consultants and contractors.The key achievements of Duraline India include turnkey contracts for Karnataka Government KUDCEM (Karnataka Urban Development and Coastal Environmental Management) Project (ADB-funded) for water distribution scheme covering over 400 km of network in townships of Udupi, Ullal, Kundapura, and Sirsi. This involved the manufacture, supply and installation of HDPE pipe produced from imported compounded PE 100 grade resin. Also worth mentioning are turnkey contracts from Goa PWD and KUIDFC (Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation) for Dura-Trac, India first fully detectable polyethylene pipe.
